Terry Graves is an artist and educator whose work reflects a lifelong dedication to painting and the visual arts. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, his paintings are grounded in strong technique and a genuine passion for the creative process.

He earned his BFA in painting after studying at New Mexico Junior College and Texas Tech University, building a foundation that has supported both his studio practice and his teaching career. For more than 35 years, Graves has shared his knowledge through teaching roles in Texas and Arizona, inspiring and mentoring generations of artists.

His interest in painting began early, completing his first oil landscape in the third grade—a moment that sparked a lasting commitment to his craft. Since then, he has continued to explore and refine his work, drawn to the expressive qualities and versatility of both oil and watercolor.

Based in Queen Creek, Arizona, Graves remains deeply engaged in both creating and teaching, bringing decades of experience and a steady, practiced hand to his work.
