Patricia Govezensky

Born in 1961 in Tel Aviv, Patricia discovered her passion for art at an early age, studying in programs sponsored by the Tel Aviv Museum. She continued her education at Tel Aviv University, where she explored both art and science, and went on to refine her practice at the Avni Institute from 1982 to 1984. In 1987, she graduated with honors from the Ramat Hasharon Art Academy.

Patricia’s vibrant, female-centered compositions reflect her deeply held belief in the uplifting power of art. Rich in color and emotion, her work celebrates joy, vitality, and the beauty of everyday life. As she explains, “Painting is my way of expressing life’s joy and fulfillment. Beyond expression, art can help us make peace with our lives—encouraging positivity, enthusiasm, and an appreciation for the brighter aspects of our existence, rather than dwelling in protest, cynicism, or selfishness.”

Through her work, Patricia invites viewers into a world of warmth and optimism, where color and form become a celebration of the human spirit.
