Kelly Russo

Kelly Russo is an abstract painter whose work explores the relationship between shape, space, and color as metaphors for life, emotion, and human connection. Raised in the Boston area, she developed an early appreciation for art through frequent exposure to world-class museums and collections. Kelly earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts and later a Master’s degree in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art & Design, where international study and travel further shaped her artistic perspective. Inspired by both landscape and the experience of raising four children, her paintings balance spontaneity with structure, creating dynamic compositions that examine themes of time, perspective, and the complexities of everyday life. Through layered marks, bold forms, and expressive color, Kelly’s work invites viewers into a visual conversation that is both energetic and deeply personal.
