Angela Mia

Angela Mia is a figurative sculptor known for her expressive bronze works that capture the emotional depth of the human experience. Her figures, defined by lifelike movement and nuanced expression, reflect moments of connection, memory, and love.

Her artistic journey began in childhood, first through playful experimentation and later through a more intentional exploration of form. Recognizing her early talent, her mother encouraged her to pursue sculpture, setting the foundation for a lifelong creative path. Angela went on to graduate summa cum laude from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and furthered her studies at the University of Madrid.

A defining shift in her work came with the birth of her first child, inspiring a body of sculpture centered on childhood. Her figures convey a sense of joy, freedom, and authenticity—capturing children as they are experienced, rather than simply observed. Themes of imagination, tenderness, and emotional connection remain central to her work.

For more than three decades, Angela Mia’s sculptures have been exhibited and collected internationally, resonating with audiences for their warmth and relatability. In recent years, she has expanded her practice by translating select works into wearable sculpture, creating jewelry that carries the same emotional significance as her larger pieces.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Angela continues to create from her studio, drawing inspiration from her family and everyday life. Her work remains rooted in a deep appreciation for the moments and relationships that shape the human experience.
