Rodrigo (Jing P. Ma) is a contemporary painter known for his richly textured landscapes that bring scenes of nature to life with striking depth and dimension. Born in Henan, China, in 1979, Rodrigo came of age during a period of cultural and artistic expansion. After graduating from Henan University of Education in 1999, he continued to develop his practice while working in various art-related fields.

His early career included notable milestones, beginning with a major exhibition in Hong Kong in 2003, followed by first-place recognition at the Beijing Art Expo the following year.
