Peter Charles finds many subjects to paint onto canvas. His confident brush and informed anatomical studies combine to create a fascinating glimpse into the bold contrast and yet tender flow of the zebra’s stripes. He paints with a lyrical intensity and with a rich unique vision that is all his own. His popularity began with roosters that he painted with spontaneity and vibrancy. Soon he captured the essence of floral and foliage from the area. For now it is the zebra who is getting all of the attention. While P. Charles has received a collector base in the United States, he continues to compete and participate in group exhibitions in his homeland of Korea. He is currently a member of the “Korean Sunday Artists”.
