Chanel Kreuzer

Chanel Kreuzer is a contemporary artist based in Texas whose work centers on capturing the quiet emotion and stillness found in nature. Working primarily in oil and mixed media, she maintains a disciplined daily painting practice that informs both the consistency and depth of her work.

Her artistic training spans multiple disciplines and institutions, including studies at Tarrant County College, the Paul Mitchell Institute, and Austin Fine Arts, where she trained under master artist Elizabeth Locke. She also attended Atelier Dojo Art School in Austin, further refining her technical and conceptual approach. Her work has been exhibited at institutions such as the University of Texas Mexican American Cultural Center, Mexic-Arte Museum, and the Katonah Museum of Art in New York.

Kreuzer’s work is rooted in a deep connection to the natural world. She approaches painting as a way of engaging with the land—interpreting its stillness, energy, and quiet presence. Rather than focusing on direct representation, her work seeks to convey a more reflective and emotional experience of nature.

Through layered compositions and subtle shifts in color and form, her paintings explore themes of connection, resilience, and renewal. Her practice reflects a belief in the interconnectedness of all things, creating work that invites a sense of calm, reflection, and quiet engagement.
